Lady Gaga's body-shaming revenge: a very revealing Grammys outfit

Emilio Banks | 14 February, 2017, 00:50

Near the end of their ten-song greatest hits set at the sweaty, raucous and rocking Hollywood Palladium Sunday (Feb. 12), Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich grabbed the mic and quipped, "Hey, is this still on?" in reference to the band's Grammy appearance earlier that night.

The singer, fresh off her dazzling half-time performance in last week's Super Bowl 51, showed up at the Grammys making another powerful statement. Literally. The flames in the background upped the intensity, and Gaga even jumped into the crowd, proving to those who doubted this team-up that she can rock.

The Born This Way hitmaker has reportedly been dating her talent agent, Creative Artists Agency representative Christian Carino, in recent weeks, but their budding romance was only unearthed after Gaga hinted at finding love again during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday (09Feb17).

Of course, I would eventually discover Metallica's back catalog as I progressed through high school and college, and deem it to be much better than the polished tracks that made the band a household name with the Black Album. But heavy metal heroes Metallica and Lady Gaga of "Poker Face" and "Born This Way" fame, sharing the same stage at the Grammys? It was nice to see Mariah's tech get another job to be fired from, I suppose. Real or fake? And while we're at it, what did you think of Gaga's Grammy outfit?

Carino and Gaga were first spotted together last month at a Kings of Leon concert and were then seen "cuddling" on the Super Bowl LI field over the weekend, according to People. Previously, GaGa teased fans about the collaboration for the music's biggest night by posting a photo of her and the band on her Instagram account.

"And if they're really good, part of them always stays there".

James Hetfield, lead vocalist and guitarist of Metallica, is not happy after performing at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

Things were kicked off by Lady Gaga, who stormed the stage with a series of sexy dance moves, before leaping down to the stage and taking take hold of the mic. During her tribute performance for David Bowie at the 2016 Grammys, she also dressed up as the rock icon.
